Wayne: People know I’m a recruiter for Wells Fargo and frequently ask for advice on getting a job with us. I always tell them to start with these three steps: First, visit our careers site and search our job openings.

Wayne: Set up a profile with your resume, and set up an advanced job search agent so you receive emails whenever a positon opens up that meets your interests and experiences.

Wayne: When you apply, be sure to include keywords in your resume that align with the job description. But only if you actually have that experience. Secondly, network like crazy. This means reaching out to people at the company to ask questions about their job and the company culture. If you already work here, reach out to someone who might be willing to be your mentor. And think about joining one of our Team Member Networks. It’s a great way to connect with peers who have common interests. Learn about us as a company to understand our values and our culture. You’ll be surprised how much you find out.

Wayne: From a business perspective, do your research on the part of our company that you’re most interested in and how it supports Wells Fargo as a whole. Thirdly, follow us on LinkedIn.

Wayne: Set up your profile. Don’t skimp, add a summary of your skills, and your latest resume. And of course, reach out to your Wells Fargo connections on LinkedIn and ask about their work and what they love most about the company. If you following these recruiting steps you’ll have a solid basis for applying and potentially getting a job with Wells Fargo. Good luck!
