Audit Services 

The primary function of the audit group is to determine if the company’s risk management, systems of control, and governance processes are adequate and functioning as intended. Working together, we reduce risk to protect our customers, our team members, and our communities to enhance shareholder value.

Corporate Risk

Wells Fargo’s Risk Management is organized along three lines of defense, each of which has distinct objectives and responsibilities. This integrated risk management approach is built on strong relationships and willing partnerships—it promotes greater coordination and communication among the three lines, and strengthens independent oversight by both Corporate Risk and independent assurance by Wells Fargo Audit Services.

Enterprise Finance

Enterprise Finance plans, tracks, analyzes and reports financial results, manages the company’s balance sheet, including funding, capital and investments; oversees internal real estate needs; drives acquisitions; is responsible for financial controls; and leads corporate strategy. Enterprise Finance identifies areas of financial risk and mitigates efforts appropriately. It works with capital markets to provide lowest possible costs of incremental funding, subject to capital and financial risk management constraints. It improves financial performance by analyzing business unit performance and recommending areas of improvement.
