[Music plays. Wells Fargo logo appears with the headline: None of us is as influential as all of us. I get to make a difference.]

Georgette “GiGi” Nixon, SVP and Director of Strategic Partnerships, EDI & Strategic Philanthropy, talks about why she loves her job at Wells Fargo.

I’ve worked at Wells Fargo for 23 years. The best part of my work is that I get to make a difference in the lives of individuals and in the communities where we live and work.  I think it’s really important as a team member to work for a company that does commit to the community, that does feel socially responsible, and demonstrates that commitment every day.

Chart appears:  Wells Fargo donated over $281.3 million to 16,300 nonprofits in 2015. 42% of that went to community development, 4% to environmental organizations, 5% each to civic groups and arts and cultural organizations, 16% went towards human services, and 28% to education.

When you look at that kind of financial investment, what comes along with that is employee volunteerism.

Various images of Wells Fargo team members volunteering in the community and at events appears on screen.

You can’t even measure the amount of time that all of our employees collectively spend out in communities giving back, serving, and providing help to people in need. We don’t tell people what they can give to or how they can volunteer. We just say “Go and do it. Give back.” And we’re going to support you as a company.
