Ailsa: I used to work at a different branch when I was a teller. My customers followed me to a different branch when I became a personal banker so now they’re still my clients. They bring their whole family and they want me to help their kids and their nephews and nieces and everyone. It’s just telling you that you’re doing the right thing.

Ailsa: If you really want to help people, if you always think of what’s best for the customer, if you build that trust, then you’re going to be a successful banker.

Ailsa: I like helping college students a lot. I can teach them how to do online banking and budget their money, how their account’s set up. When they leave, they’re not so lost out there.

Ailsa: It’s nice when they come back on summer vacations and then they tell me how I helped them and that makes me realize that I made a difference.
