Meet Mary McCambridge
Enterprise Staff Functions
The Past: “How did you get here?”
What distinguished Wells Fargo from other competitors, as a professional opportunity for you?
I knew that Wells Fargo would have a great training program because of its size and success. The organization is a globally recognized brand with incredible resources to encourage constant learning and development for all of their team members.
The Present: “What do you do here?”
What is a typical work day like for you?
My days change depending on what campaigns/content we are leveraging. Some days I may assist in moderation to service our customer’s engaging with our social media channels. Other days, I meet with partners such as Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to develop and refresh platform strategies. I run data analysis of our organic content and communicate findings to stakeholders and work with various LOBs to ensure our efforts are in sync. I enjoy my job because my work changes as frequently as social media does!
What was your most enjoyable project at Wells Fargo? Why?
I was able to assist in a social media activation for Gonzaga University during the March Madness basketball tournament. Being able to work with my Alma mater and directly apply the skills that my college taught me was incredibly rewarding.
What are the top three skills (technical and soft) that are required, daily, in your role?
Being communicative, creative, and strategic.
How would you describe the corporate culture of your group?
Collaborative.
The Future: “Where do you want to go?”
What future opportunities do you hope to embark on in your career? Does Wells Fargo provide avenues to foster these goals?
I aspire to maintain a strong role in the digital marketing industry and obtain a graduate degree in the next few years of my career. One of the greatest advantages of working for Wells Fargo are the opportunities for team members to learn. Wells Fargo has great online resources in their learning center as well as insightful workshops and webinars to strengthen skillsets.
