[Visual: The camera pans an outside view of Wells Fargo buildings.]
[Visual: Several personal pictures and a military coin representing Andy’s military experience lay on a table as Andy speaks.]
Andy: I decided to join the Navy when my father was in. He's a retired O6 Naval Captain of 30 years.
[Visual: Andy speaks to the camera while sitting in an old fashioned brick conference space.]
Andy: And I decided to join the military, seeing his background, seeing his career, and wanted the same.
[Visual: The camera pans with close ups of the pictures and Navy coin and Andy speaks.]
Andy: I joined the Navy Seabees in 1992 as an equipment operator and served for eight years.
[Visual: The camera returns to Andy speaking to the camera in the conference space, then joined by two fellow veteran team members.]
Andy: The transition from the Navy to the corporate world is quite different because we don't interview in the service. Coming into the corporate world and having to understand behavioral-type interviews, and interviewing for your job, making sure that your resume is up to par, those were the things that was quite different. Having to learn how to interview was challenging.
[Visual: Andy walks down a hallway and up an escalator with the camera focusing on various angles as he moves.]
Andy: Being a veteran myself here at Wells Fargo, I feel the support. And I'm open to providing that support to other veterans here to show career progression. I looked at my own experiences in the military in trying to pull out various skill sets, such as leadership-type skills, project management skills, analytics.
[Visual: Andy sits on a set of couches with a fellow veteran team member, then transitions to Andy speaking to the camera in the conference space.]
Andy: And as I speak to veterans in helping them with their transferable skill sets, getting them to recognize all the leadership skills that they possess and what they've had in the military and showcasing that through your Wells Fargo experience.
[Visual: Pictures and articles from veteran events Andy participated are displayed on a table.]
Andy: The thing I enjoy most about working for Wells Fargo is having the opportunity to serve on a nonprofit board. I've been serving on the board of directors since 2011 and Wells Fargo supports Veterans Bridge Home.
[Visual: Andy speaks to the camera sitting in the conference space.]
Andy: And that's the connector in the community for military veterans. We connect them to housing, employment, health care, and other types of opportunities that they may not see at the VA. And we are that connector within the Charlotte community and beyond.
[Visual: A gold Wells Fargo coin laying on a table is displayed.]
Andy: I believe that working at Wells Fargo provides many opportunities, and it's the reason why I stay.
[Visual: Andy walks and talks with a fellow team member.]
Andy: There's opportunities such as career advancement, financial education, mentoring opportunities, and these are things that attract me to Wells Fargo, but also others.
