Veiongo’s Story

Veiongo: When I first actually hit the floor, I started asking my new supervisor, "I want to literally grow within this company and it seems like you guys are allowing us to grab on to these opportunities that you guys are providing. I just want to see how far it will take me. Is there a possible way that you can show me?" So then she started showing me the career development. And basically what that is is you set up a timeframe of your goals and how you're going to get there. And I've always met those goals. So I just wanted to make sure that, not only was I compliant within my position, but also meet my goals, just so I can prove to myself that I am there for the job. I can do it. And then I also wanted to earn the opportunities that they were providing for the floor.
