Veteran Team Member Network in India

Employing teams from diverse backgrounds continues to be a priority for Wells Fargo across all of its International regions. Wells Fargo has been helping military members and veterans succeed financially for more than 160 years, through initiatives to recruit and retain veteran team members, foundation donations, countless volunteer hours, event sponsorship, and more. Around the world today, Wells Fargo employs more than 8,300 veteran team members.

In 2012 the Military & Veteran Affairs Program was created in India in a further effort to be more inclusive towards the large veteran community that is part of the country’s employable population. To support the program further, in 2019 Wells Fargo Enterprise Global Services (WFEGS) launched the Veteran Team Member Network (VTMN) in India.

Wells Fargo’s Team Member Network (TMN) program is an important part of our commitment to building a diverse and inclusive culture at Wells Fargo. Our Team Member Networks are formed around historically under-represented segments, and they provide team members with personal and professional development, mentoring, leadership engagement, and networking and community outreach opportunities.

Veterans can contribute great value to an organization such as Wells Fargo, which values and leverages diverse talents, perspectives, and experiences that lead to creativity and innovation. Through the new Veterans network, we want to tap into the diverse skills that veterans have, whilst providing a second career post retirement.  

Creating an environment that is welcoming to veteran team members whilst allowing for cultural immersion and better engagement is the ultimate goal and by offering team members additional support and development Wells Fargo aims to become a preferred employer for veterans.
