Leadership Pipeline Program

Program Location: Charlotte, NC; Minneapolis, MN; San Francisco, CA

Program Length: 12 months

A number of groups within Wholesale Banking are dedicated to delivering innovative solutions to our clients, and protecting what they value most. As an associate in the Leadership Pipeline Program (LPP), you will become part of one of these groups by joining a team in the following areas with corresponding responsibilities:

  • Operations
  • Risk Management and Compliance
  • Sales and Client Services
  • Project Management

After the program, you’ll have the experience to be ready to step into a full-time role with your assigned group.

    

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree candidate with an expected undergraduate graduation by June prior to program start date
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) skills
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environment
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and creative problem solving techniques
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy skills
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management

Financial Analyst Program

Program Location: Nationwide and Canada

Program Length: 2 - 2.5 years

During the program, you’ll become part of a lending office in one of the following groups based on your preference, and the needs of the business. The structure of the program varies by business group. Additional information will be provided during the application and interview process:

Once you have completed the program, you will be ready to step into a credit analyst, relationship manager, or portfolio manager role. Select candidates will be chosen to participate in the Credit Management Training Program (CMTP), an intensive classroom-based program that will accelerate your development.

 

Qualifications

  • At least one year of experience in one or a combination of the following: financial analysis, credit analysis, statistical analysis, or statement spreading; or a BA/BS degree or higher granted prior to hire date.
  • Bachelor's Degree with an expected graduation date by June of program year
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • High level of initiative and accountability
  • Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
  • Solid problem solving and decision making skills
  • Proven leadership, self-motivation and success through internships, part-time or full-time work, and/or extracurricular activities

Business Banking Credit & Relationship Management Analyst Program

Program Location: Nationwide

Program Length: Up to 24 months

Wells Fargo Business Banking clients are businesses with annual sales ranging from $5 to $20 million. These businesses have complex financial services needs and rely on our relationship management teams to uncover business lending, cash management, and risk management opportunities to help them grow and thrive.

While the goal of completion of the first year of the BB Credit & Relationship Management Analyst Program as an Analyst 1 is to advance to a BB Credit & Relationship Management Program Analyst 2 position, advancement is not guaranteed. Employment as a BB Credit Program Analyst 1 is at-will and can be terminated by either party at any time.

  

Qualifications

  • 3+ months of professional experience through internships, part-time, or full-time work
  • Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university undergraduate program majoring in Accounting, Finance, or a similar major in a business related field with a target graduation date by June of program start date
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial services industry
  • Leadership experience
  • Financial analysis or accounting experience
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
  • Experience successfully collaborating with others in a change driven environment
  • Prior customer facing work experience
  • Wells Fargo Business Banking internship experience with recommendation of manager, previous Wells Fargo internship experience with recommendation of manager, or previous internship experience in the financial services industry are desired

Treasure Management Associate Program

Program Location: Charlotte, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Phoenix

Program Length: 12 months

The Treasury Management Associate Program is a comprehensive, rotational program that provides broad exposure to various business segments of Treasury Management. The program focuses on practical hands-on learning and provides the opportunity to gain an understanding of Wells Fargo’s operations, business strategies, and corporate culture. Associates will perform a rotation in the following areas: Sales, Implementation, Client Services, Product Management, and Risk Management. Associates must be willing to travel 10% of the time.

 

Tracks:

* Sales -- Typical assignments include updating and analyzing prospect information stored in customer records management systems to identify sales opportunities; participate in client meetings to learn product sales strategies; develop analytical skills by participating in data mining and customer analytics projects. In addition, associates may participate in client meetings, answer client questions and troubleshoot client issues and/or build relationships with clients to ensure their satisfaction with Wells Fargo.

 

* Implementation/Project Management/Technology/Risk -- Typical assignments include: developing an implementation strategy for a new application or sales tool; developing and implementing strategies for increasing cross sell activity; developing and implementing staffing models and resource management tools for projects; manage projects associated with identifying alternate product solutions; assisting with a variety of technology initiatives; and assisting with the business requirements associated applications. Migrating risk is one of our key business priorities and associates will be exposed to assignments in risk management to understand how we do business etc.
