The branches and representative offices across the world cover a diverse range of businesses that includes Corporate Banking, Financial Institutions Group, Middle Market Banking, Global Payment Services, International Trade Services, Wells Fargo Securities, Wells Fargo Asset Management and Eastdil Secured.

Asia Pacific

With more than 1,500 team members in Asia Pacific, Wells Fargo are continuously looking for opportunities to expand. Our regional presence grew following the acquisition of GE Capital’s Commercial Distribution Finance platform in 2016.

The Asia Pacific team has won a number of accolades acknowledging the achievements we made in enhancing customer experience through continuous product innovation and channel optimization from Trade Finance, Global Transaction Banking Services and USD Clearing Bank.

Across all of our markets, we play an active role in transforming local communities. We have partnered with organizations to support children, elderly and the Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender communities whilst focusing on health, environment and natural disaster relief efforts.

Wells Fargo’s regional headquarters are based in Hong Kong with additional offices in Australia, Bangladesh, China, India, Japan, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand.

Canada & Latin America

Wells Fargo has a rich history of serving customers in Canada and Latin America. Our first office in Canada opened in Victoria, British Columbia in 1858; our first office in Mexico opened in 1860 and by 1900, there were 300 Wells Fargo offices throughout the country. While originally formed to meet the demand of safe and secure transport, our business has evolved to meet the changing needs of our clients.

Today in the Americas, the majority of our business is in Canada with primary lines of business Capital Finance, Equipment Finance and Commercial Distribution Finance. Our team nearly tripled with Wells Fargo’s acquisition of Commercial Distribution Finance from GE Capital in 2016. Today we have over 750 team members across Canada.

Our Latin American business has team members in Argentina, Bahamas, Chile, Columbia, Dominican Republic and Mexico.

Europe, Middle East & Africa

Wells Fargo’s presence in Europe dates back to 1853. By the turn of the 20th Century, our worldwide operations included agents and correspondents across Europe in England, France, Germany, Belgium, Holland, Ireland, Scotland, Italy, Norway, and Switzerland. Today, Wells Fargo is a combination of legacy businesses and acquisitions of specialty financial services firms, as well as large scale acquisitions, most notably Wachovia and GE Capital.

Wells Fargo’s regional headquarters are based in London and the majority of our 1500 team members are U.K. based. We operate across Germany, France, Ireland, Italy, Luxemburg, the Netherlands, Sweden and the United Arab Emirates.

Team members across the region work closely in the local communities they live and work in, via fund raising or committed volunteer hours. These have ranged from mentoring in schools, to donating clothes to local charities to cleaning litter from the beach.

India & Philippines

At Wells Fargo, we work collaboratively – across business lines and geographies – to bring the right solutions to our customers.
